CME’s Project Director, Brad R. Cole, PE, was named to Pennsylvania’s Conventional Oil and Gas Advisory Committee (COGAC) as a voting member. Mr. Cole will act as the Mining Representative on this committee.
COGAC advises the Department of Environmental Protection in the development of regulations relating to conventional oil and gas extraction. COGAC is also given the opportunity to review and comment on all regulations of a technical nature prior to submission to the Environmental Quality Board. All members are chosen by the Acting Secretary of the Department of Environmental Protection.
Mr. Cole is an excellent addition to the committee as he has over 25 years of experience in various engineering endeavors, with a specific focus on mining and environmental matters. It is an honor as Mr. Cole is recognized for his knowledge and expertise in the industry. The CME team is proud of Mr. Cole and looks forward to seeing his impact on the committee.
